Apparently Priest announced that Tai Sui will be edited/revised this year or next, which has caused me to rearrange my bookbinding plans a little bit (I mean, I don't know if the translator will do anything with the revisions anyway, but it's at least worth waiting a bit to see). But I wasn't anywhere close to ready to bind it anyway so it's not a big deal. It's good news I think--I loved the book but there were definitely some places where the pacing suffered a bit.

The whole webnovel phenomenon is so interesting to observe from the outside. What *is* the true final form of any of these works? Who knows!

E. Danglers also did the official translation of Golden Stage for Peach Flower House, which has me wondering if the other titles they've translated might have a chance of publication with them...

It'd be really cool if they did! Tai Sui isn't danmei though (it's gen) which I feel like lowers its chances of a licensed translation significantly, at least from somewhere like peach flower house or seven seas.

(my dream is somewhere like tor picks it up and gives it the high fantasy treatment it deserves)

ooo I didn't realize that Tai Sui was gen! (tho I knew that priest wrote not-danmei titles, I mean, just look at Legend of Fei.) Yeah, that would reduce the odds, though with Guardian and Sha Po Lang coming out I think there's still a chance - like, if English-language priest stuff gets popular, there's a chance that all priest titles could eventually make it because people will read them Because They're By Priest instead of just cause it's mlm.
