a minor rant

So of the ideas I listed in my last post I ended up going with zombie!jzx and I told myself, I'll just write this as a 1-2k oneshot to sum up the au concept. Hah. Right now it's about 3k and I've told about a third of what I want to tell, and other characters keep knocking on the door of my brain and asking "where am I in this?" (sorry, Mo Xuanyu, it's nowhere good), not to mention Jin Zixuan and Jiang Yanli keep prolonging the calm-before-the-storm section of the fic by being unbearably sappy.
Well...I'm having fun?
